A Shoe Obsession

I must be a little shoe obsessed lately.  Last week, I bought two nude-colored Michael Kors shoes, and this week I found three new pair of black shoes! Giddy over these!

These (Via Spiga- Cain Sandal) are really comfortable and they come in pink too!

Charles by Charles David - Thrice Espadrille- they also come in beige.  My normal shoe size is 6 1/2, but the 7 1/2 fit me in these.  Weird.  Also, I needed the strap to fit tighter (needed one more hole) and the Nordstrom shoe guy was able to add another hole for me.  I didn't know they could do that!

Last up, for fall, I got a black shoe bootie at Nordstrom's Anniversary sale, but I couldn't find a picture of the black pair.

Yesterday was a great day for my feet- I bought these new shoes!  The first pair look awesome on and the second pair are super comfortable.  Score!

Sometimes You Forget, Until You Are Reminded

Sometimes you forget how much you want something (which is probably a sign you really don't need it) until something else reminds you again. Take this watch...I have wanted it for a while now but it fell off my radar until the other day when I saw these (which are sooo on my mind lately)...

Which in turn made me think of something that looked a little something like this, bringing me back to the original watch...

Funny how that happens...and leaves you wanting all 3 even more. While looking at this I found a few others that look like lost cousins (all of which I now want, but I would not wear them at the same time, too matchy)

Dear Target...

I looked at your maternity bathing suits (yikes) in the store this weekend and they are bad...bad, bad, bad. Let's see what we can do about that okay? On the bright side I bought these shoes in the taupe and they are so comfortable I was able to wear them alllllll day at Market and several other very long days without any problems. Well done...

Yellow Wedges Take Two

Last year I bought these Cynthia Vincent for Target wedges. If y'all remember, all C.V.'s shoes sold out quickly leaving a lot of people not happy.Every time I wear those shoes I get asked where they are from and it always pains me to tell them they are no longer available. However, while perusing the Target website today I came across these and I think they are pretty good substitute...
And the $24.99 price tag makes me like them even more...

New Spring Shoes

We’ve had a spell of warm weather here this week (highs in the mid-70’s), which has me longing for

In preparation for the upcoming season, I bought a few new pair of shoes! 

I love a wedge heel for those everyday occasions when you’re going for a casual look, but still want a little height.  And of course, I had to get both silver and gold.  The wedges pictured above are Gianni Bini at Dillard’s.  In Houston, we wear flip flops a lot, especially in the summer.  Well, at least I do.  Both pair pictured above are from Target.  I don’t like to spend a lot since they typically last only one season.

Also on my wish list is some fun nude heels.

Trouble For My Budget Is Afoot

I ordered these but when they came they were too big- in every way. So even though they were cute I sent them back.I was feeling good about saving the money until I came across these...
They look much better in person but the store did not have my size so I am waiting for them to come from here. Last year when I injured my back I basically lived in a pair of Born boots which were such a blessing, I hope these do the same for me this year. I will let you know how it goes.

Style Saturday: Wedges

I love wedge sandals for summer.  For starters, I'm really short (5'1) so I love the height they give.  Plus, they are generally more comforable than heels and dressy enough for me to wear to work.  I've literally worn these everyday to work since I went back from maternity leave (I have them in gold and silver so they go with everything).
